Our History
Ponte della Vittoria Verona

Ponte della Vittoria - Verona

On April 25, 1945, the Germans, during their retreat, blasted all the bridges of Verona including the Ponte della Vittoria, designed by Arch. Fagiuoli.
The Coltri brothers won the contract for the supply of marble (Nembro) and the bridge was inaugurated on May 24, 1955.

Marmi Santa Caterina was founded in 1967 by the brothers Guglielmo and Silvio Coltri, belonging to the third generation of entrepreneurs in stone processing industry.
Tradition and vocation have led the company to specialize in "niche" works, directing its sales not only on the Italian market but on foreign markets as well.
Marmi Santa Caterina is proud to work with some of the most renowned Italian architects such as :
arch.Carlo Scarpa
arch.Caccia Dominioni
arch.Mendini

In the last few years, marble and granite have been used for applications other than those commonly known: kitchen countertops, bathroom furnishings are becoming increasingly popular and a quality standard representing and keeping up the value of “made in Italy” is more and more demanded.
We firmly believe we can fully interpret this value, both for our long-established experience, and for the excellent professionalism of our workers who, together with ever-evolving processing technologies, can meet multiple needs and expectations.
