WHAT IS A COOKIE?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on a user’s device (such as computer, smartphone, tablet or any other device used to access the internet) when the user visits a site.
Cookies are sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is running) to the user’s browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and stored on the computer of the latter; they are then sent back to the website at subsequent visits.
During navigation, the user may also receive cookies from different websites (the so called "third party cookies") on his device, set directly by the operators of those sites and used for the purposes and in the manner defined by them. No personal data of the user is acquired by the site through simple browsing of the site pages. No cookie is used for the transmission of personal data and information.
COOKIES USED BY THE WEBSITE
In this site we use the following cookies:
- “navigation” or “session” cookies (i.e. cookies that are not persistently stored on the user's computer and disappear as soon as the browser is closed). Such cookies are used exclusively for the transmission of session identifiers, necessary to allow safe and efficient site browsing, avoiding the use of computer techniques more invasive for the user and not allowing the acquisition of personal identifying data of the user;
- "functional" cookies that adapt the site's presentation to the user's computer display preferences (such as language, screen resolution, running operating system, etc…)
- • No profiling cookies are used.
